  • Immigration Attorney

    Erie Neighborhood House (ENH), a social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney. Reporting to the Supervising Attorney, the immigration attorney will be housed out of the Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA) and the basic function is to provide immigration consultations and representation for individuals seeking immigration benefits before USCIS and EOIR. This will be the first and sole attorney position working out of LSNA, employed by ENH, and thus the attorney will also be responsible for assisting the Supervising Attorney in developing the legal services program, including conducting outreach, establishing policies and procedures, and providing legal consultations and representation before USCIS and EOIR.

    Erie Neighborhood House, a community-building agency empowering Chicago’s low-income and immigrant families, and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society is seeking an experienced, bilingual professional to serve as a Bilingual Social Worker in the agency's Little Village office. Proyecto Cuídate provides individual, group and family services to support, inform and educate the community on topics that strengthen the individual and family unit. The basic functions are to provide comprehensive assessments, counseling and crisis intervention for participants.

    Erie Neighborhood House, a progressive social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a part-time ESL Instructor for its Little Village Site; this is an evening position, 17 hours a week. Class time is Monday through Thursday, 6pm-9pm with 5 hours of paid prep time. Reporting to the ESL/Literacy Coordinator, the ESL Instructor’s basic function is to develop ESL curriculum and provide ESL instruction for adult learners.

    The Executive Assistant, Programs basic function is to provide an advanced level of administrative service to the Senior Director of Programs (SDP) and as well as support to the Program Directors. The Executive Assistant, Programs will receive training and coaching from the Senior Executive Assistant and will work closely with them to coordinate activities between the Senior Director Programs, Program Directors and Executive Director, both within the agency and with external partners.
