  • Senior Director of Operations

    Erie Neighborhood House, a progressive social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a Senior Director of Operations. The Senior Director of Operations's basic function is to be responsible for the daily operations of Erie House, supporting the Executive Director to focus on broader strategic matters, community development, resource development, and agency fundraising. As such, this person will oversee the Human Resources (HR), Information Technology & Support (ITS), Operations/Facilities, Reception, Purchasing/Receivables, Office Management, Financial Risk Management and Special Projects as assigned. This position will work closely with the Executive Team including the Senior Director of Programs & Quality Assurance, Senior Director of Finance and the Senior Director of Development & Communications, the Board of Directors, and will report directly to the Executive Director.

Reporting to the ESL/Literacy Coordinator, the ESL Instructor’s basic function is to develop ESL curriculum and provide ESL instruction for adult learners.

Our Little Village READS program, a volunteer driven after-school literacy intervention program for 1st-3rd graders in need of additional reading support, is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) READS Program Facilitator for its Little Village Site; this is a 40 hour a week position, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm. Some morning and evening hours required. Reporting to the Literacy Coordinator, the READS program facilitator basic function is to manage the day to day programing requirements of the READS program.
