  • Case Manager

    Erie Neighborhood House, a progressive social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a full-time Case Manager for the Workforce Development Department. The Workforce department provides pre-certification training in healthcare, supply chain management and logistics, as well as technology. Upon completion, participants are expected to transition to post-secondary training then job placement. Reporting to the Director of Workforce Development, the Case Manager’s role is to guide and engage participants in training, job search and job placement.

  • School-Age Educator

    Erie Neighborhood House, a comprehensive social service agency serving Chicago’s metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a School-Age Educator, who under the supervision of the School Age Site Director is responsible for implementing program and providing direct service to children in a comprehensive School Age Program. The School-Age Educator will work 4 hours a day during school days and 8 hours a day (full-time) during summer/school vacation/holidays, contingent upon funding.

The pre-certification program consists of providing math, reading and writing instruction with each course contextualized to either healthcare or supply chain management and logistics industry. The instructor reports to the Education and Training Coordinator. The Instructor’s basic job functions are to provide instruction in math, reading and writing courses to post-secondary education learners ranging on average from 5.0--10.0 grade level equivalents.

The pre-certification program consists of providing math, reading and writing instruction with each course contextualized to the healthcare, the warehousing and distribution or the manufacturing industry. The instructor reports to the Education and Training Coordinator. The instructor’s basic job function is to provide instruction to post-secondary education learners whose grade level equivalency range from 5.0-10.0 by using a contextualized manufacturing curriculum focused on math, reading, and writing.

  • Receptionist (Part-Time)

    Erie Neighborhood House, a progressive social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a part-time Receptionist. The Receptionist may work at one of two Erie sites: at 1701 W. Superior or at 1347 W. Erie. Reporting to the Lead Receptionist, the Receptionist’s basic function is to respond to all incoming telephone calls, greet visitors, direct participants and guests appropriately and perform some program data-entry. The Receptionist serves as the initial point of contact of the organization and should be professional, sensitive and courteous in dealing with the organization’s diverse community. The Receptionist must possess a spirit of collaborative support, professionalism, and a strong initiative to work effectively with the Reception team and all other Erie departments.
